Missouri Self-Defense: 1 dead in early morning home invasion shooting :: 05/14/2017
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A resident living in a home in the 4000 block of 69th Street shot and killed an intruder just before 4 a.m.
Police said the shooting happened inside the home.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person who also lived in the home was shot and suffered minor injuries. They are expected to be OK.
The suspect was not identified by police.
The investigation into the incident continues.
