Florida Gov. Rick Scott: Lets Destroy ISIS, Not The 2nd Amendment :: 06/19/2016
It is time to destroy ISIS, not the Second Amendment, Florida Governor Rick Scott (R) said Friday when he was asked about President Barack Obama’s renewed demands for more gun control.
“The Second Amendment didn’t kill anybody. Let’s have a conversation about how we destroy ISIS,” he said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC).
This is ISIS. This is evil. This is radical Islam. When are we going to say to ourselves as a country, ‘Let’s focus on destroying ISIS’?
“The Second Amendment’s been around for 200 years,” he added.
ISIS is the name of the Islamic army based in northern Syria. The Orlando murderer claimed he murdered the 49 people at the Pulse nightclub out of loyalty to ISIS.
